Sorin thank you to my friend for helping me to film.
I had to go back!
Starting at midnight the village of Les Houches (1100m) with 18kg on his back. Taste of arrival at the refuge (3800m) at 6:30. One-hour break to eat and drink, warm up, put on my crampons, I left and hop ...
At 11:20, I reached the summit of Mont Blanc after 3700M altitude. And that's what it gave:
Our planet deserves an effort!
I stayed at the top an hour, and I began my descent. I got to my car at 7:40 p.m..
Since 2006, "The Sweeper of the Peaks' was an adventure in human encounters EXTRAORDINARY, MAGICAL and related environmental and mountains. It was really EXCEPTIONAL! And to quote one of my little words: "It was Tip Top Moumoute".
I addressed over 300 classes ranging from CE1 to school. Each time, students were very interested and receptive. A young boy even told me: "When I grow up I want to be sweeper tops!" What a gift! I feel I have accomplished my goal: educating young people about the environment!
Sponsors:
Since the beginning, I asked all the major French companies and groups to find financial sponsors. This search has remained fruitless. Being very determined and motivated to achieve that dream and that passion to sweep the tops, I personally funded my expeditions. Today, I no longer have the means to continue.
I sincerely thank my equipment ( Mountain Hardwear , Millet , Julbo , and Petzl ) without lequels I will not have been able to achieve peaks of the sweeper. Thank you!
The future:
I will stay and the sweeper of the Peaks, I always pick it up waste in the mountains, and I will always work for our planet. But I'll do it personally and at my own pace. The important thing is to strive for our beautiful planet! Will you be?
Below is my favorite picture representing the sweeper of the Peaks:
A short report on the sweeper of the summits was broadcast on Arte:
The responses from potential sponsors are unfortunately negative. As several people have pointed out to me: "You're ahead of your time, and sponsors are chilly!"
Is this the end of a dream? Or is this simply another route I should take (see: work related to my studies)?
What is certain is that our planet is always worth an effort!
Here I am en route to Morocco. This travel opportunity was offered to me by the association of Dr. Fatiaha (ADF) who wanted me to come and intervene in Moroccan schools Berkane (North-east, near Oujda). When, early in October, I received an email telling me "Would you be interested to present your work in schools in Morocco?" I immediately said "YES, YES, YES! This is tip top toupee! "
And I took the opportunity to discover this country and mountains that I do not know. Mt Toubkal peaks at 4100m. I will tell you all that on my return in early December.
Hello, After an acclimatization that successful mid-October, weather arrived in force. I found myself in the rain (lots of rain!), And then a completely cloudy sky, and finally, in the snow (there too much snow)!
it's been 10 days that I waited to go up, and 60cm of snow fell in one day at 3000m. This heavy snowfall made the avalanche conditions, far too dangerous. The weather did not seem to improve immediately.
So I decided to go home. The Mt Blanc did not want to reach my project this time. He'll just go back ... I can be this winter!
Meanwhile, the search for sponsors continues today. Responses remain negative for now. But I persevere!
I let you view these pictures of these few days in the mountains ...
