Departure for Nepal
Hello all of you who read these lines.
Yesterday, September 29th, I arrived in Kathmandu, capital of Nepal, for the first time in the fleet of monsoon .... it's not rain, but torrents of rain ... at least it cleans the air pollution in Kathmandu ... :)
This is my shoe equipment manufacturer, Millet, who sent me here for 25 days to go clean the base camp of Kanchenjunga, North East Region of Nepal. This is a Korean expedition (10) which organizes the cleaning with Han Wan Yong (photo), the first Korean to conquer the 14 peaks over 8000m. Kanchenjunga measuring 8586m and is located in a region wild, windy, but mostly beautiful Nepal.
We leave tomorrow morning to join this magnificent mountain, then 7 days of hiking ahead of us to reach the base camp which is a 5300m, we'll cleaned for 2 days. Unfortunately, some mountaineers come to climb these beautiful mountains, but leave the waste behind them ... it's a total disrespect that removes any "glory" has this false climber (if one can speak of glory by climbing a mountain, I do not think) ...
I racconterai this in details when I come back, and I'll put pictures, hoping that the site works ....
Before leaving, I realized interventions has Lilles in Paris and CM2 classes and 6th. The exchange was genial, and the enthusiasm of children to realize also a cleaning project motivates me and enchants me.
When I returned from Nepal, I will return in the Alps to finish my project ramble cleaned during the month of November.
See you soon,
arian
