Anecdote - TV France 2

Published by Arian at 4:03 Under The Alps 2007

Comparative and critical anecdote:

The morning to go to Nepal, I had a little accident "scooter" in front of a police station. It rained, it was cold, sprained thumb and ankle like a potato. :) The persons concerned and I decided to ask the police permission to make a finding on the inside. "The response was very brief, very dry and awful:" NO, stay out. " Super French police!!
Three weeks ago, late at night, my car was forced and several things were stolen. The next morning, a police moves to take my deposition, is fingerprints on the glass (in France you'll never see it !!!), and said: "I sent it to the lab, the prints will be in the file ". This morning phone call: "Hello Arian (not Mr Lemal as in France, much more friendly here!), We found the person who has broken into your car, we have an arrest warrant and a request for presentation to justice. I want you informed. "IS WHAT IT IS NOT AS OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE?. Cheers New Zealand! Long live the mediocrity of the French Police!

Here is the report that was done during my cleaning of the Alps in summer 2007.

The young Breton ....? Breton adoption as I hope to be later.

Where you draw your motivation I wonder more, but frankly your eternal good mood on the videos is fun anyway.

Sometimes I took a tour of the lake from the deck of goose Habay (I do not know if you're there past when you lived in the region), again a superb ride. I thought of you, little waste despite very busy road but next time I come back still with a plastic bag, I will do it every time I think.

Go I wish you a good end of weekend and a good week. And good research for sponsors, I will begin my research on my side also for my Assos.

    bravo for this comparison!
I hope that which has been stolen you will be returned!

I love the story on France 2, the great Arian, as usual!

to continue the comparative France / New Zealand
what population is the most environmentally friendly?

  3. Arian is April 30, 2008 at 3:35

population greener: the comparison is interesting and rather complex because many parameters is taken into account. However, a simple indicator and global (ecological footprint) shows that New Zealand is less environmentally friendly. Its footprint is larger (8.6 against 5.2 for France). The leaders (this is not positive to lead in this case!) Are Arab Emirates (10.3), USA (9.7), Canada (8.8) and then comes to NZ!
the advantage is that the NZ population is small (4million), the country is young (since the colonists), and that the environment was able to absorb some of the pollution created ... but no longer the case, effects of exceeding the limit are visible and appear very quickly now, which requires huge investments .. and nobody wants to pay!!
The image "Green and Clean" in NZ is false, and will not improve. Young people are uneducated about the environment, and I have proof again this morning: two trash cans next to one another, the student has put his bottle plastic (recyclable element) in the wrong bin without think!

as what, in France, we are not that bad!
    ... ... ... ... ... ... .. whatever, it all depends on what you're talking!
    ;-)

For your comparison to the level of service and friendliness of the police power the first reaction (French) I think it speaks for itself. For your car in NZ my father had the same problem (peatedly glass front of the house you live in a small village yet) flight for more than 500 or 600 € (it goes fast, very fast, fortunately insurance are) short idem fingerprinting, the police telephoned regularly to my father, they did not simply regarded as closed as it would certainly in France or at least regularly in Belgium, Luxembourg is criticism, but we must recognize that he n 'there is nothing wrong.

A country very friendly to the environment: Iceland!
No waste in the mountains or very little, recycling stations, geothermal, ...

    Country worth visiting! :-)
