Stay positive!
I prefer to put a nice picture forward as my sprain. All is well, I muscle my arms with my crutches, and I spend my time studying or dreaming of Himalayan climbing expeditions along the Everest and Annapurna via the Internet.
This weekend, the weather is nice, and my roommate are going to cut wood. I'll watch them ... ![]()
Do you think it is better in environmental heat with wood, gas, oil or electricity? I do not have the exact answer, but wood requires less energy to produce and use, and less transportation also. This makes it a better product? But if everyone used wood, it would be a disaster. I think we are so dependent on fossil fuels as the answer is hard to find ... But solar and wind power solutions are. We accept wind turbines on our shores?
Here in NZ, electricity is produced at 80% by the hydrolic. There are many controversies and polemics against the dams (in China three Gorges Dam: The world's largest, highly controversial). They are a good solution?
This is an example of questions that I face in the environment. Interesting, is not it?
Good day to you, I'll get ice for my ankle! ![]()

In terms of Kw generated from the combustion gas that is far outweighed by wood, oil or coal. But in all three cases we produce greenhouse gas emissions. Since the gas will produce more energy, we burn less and therefore it polu a little less air.
By cons, when burning wood thinking must go further. Indeed, the trees recover carbon in the air ... so if you cut trees for heat, we must also realize that these trees can no longer absorb carbon. So unless you replant trees or burn dead trees is the worst solution. That said, today with oil prices exploding, wood and coal are becoming more and more interesting. Moreover there is enough coal on earth to use it again for several centuries (unlike oil).
In short, we must be cautious in terms of energy consumption. Each polluting energy, fossil fuels by increasing the greenhouse effect (which is really a factor harmful to humanity), wind their visual pollution, the hydro power they generate for floods, nuclear energy radioactive waste ...
If only there was a solution that would be cool.
In short, this is what comes out directly from my last course of climatology and sustainable development. So I just answered your questions in a scientific manner
Anyway, puts you well with your ankle!
See you soon
Greg
Greg super reflection, quite agree with you!
this is the kind of message that motivates me even more:
"Good continuation at least for your new projects and come back loaded with diplomas and always with" the same faith "and the same dedication to our planet.
friendly souvenir "
I also agree with 'Greg' on the subject. I think we should begin to use less fossil fuels, given that they will no longer be available by 40 to 100 years (depending on energy.)
As for the hydro, it is true that sometimes create the floods, most of Maisler Lles also work well.
Today, we talk more and more biofuel, some say that we must use more and more. I think rather that we must abandon the idea of biofuel that pollutes more than oil itself and for its enendre problems of famine in Africa.
I think wind power is one of the best despite its visual pollution. Some countries in the PLCE and means intend to install wind turbines and then renvendre the energy I think.
Would it not better visual pollution that air pollution?!
Anyway, good luck in everything you undertake, for your ankle, and come back fit and motivated for the rest of your adventures!
Well, that's not to say but I'd be super interested in your plans for student reflection on your projects ... because they are also open for personal reflection and that there must have thoughts for everyday use .
