Newspaper article

Published by Arian Under Pakistan 2010

Hello,

Here are two news articles on the sweeper of the peaks:

magazine "climb" (UK) in 2009 and Magazine "Derby" (La Baule) in 2010

Departure for Pakistan soon approach. All is not ready yet! I expect my partner MountainHardwear bags.

Julbo gave me some nice glasses "tip top toupee" and Millet gives me beautiful shoes shipping. My eyes and my feet are well protected! The rest of the body is Mountainhardwear. Thank you to these three indispensable partners!

Mont Blanc for October ...

Published by Arian Under Mt Blanc 2010

It's not for now this project on Mt Blanc. I prefer not to take risks and thus be able to try (and succeed) this project in October. When the mountain you to wait, we must listen.

Arian au sommet du Mt blanc novembre 2007

I know the conditions of Mt Blanc in October, I'll be more comfortable. I had reached the summit early in November 2007 for the same project (see photo attached), but then the weather had deteriorated. At this time, it's colder (in 2007 I had -12 ° at 3800m, the summit it was even colder), there is no snow slide spring (like now), and winds are weaker (usually ...). It will be much better as conditions! So it will be in October ... I hope you always follow this adventure!

I will return to La Baule, enjoy the Atlantic Ocean (nothing like a good swim salt ...) :), and prepare my business expeditions ...

Indeed, for the summer months, I'm going to review the Gasherbrum PAKISTAN. And yes again! I'll find two bottles of oxygen at the summit at 8000m and 7000m to waste a Korean abandoned last summer (when I was there). This expedition is part of a television (Special Envoy) and funded by Lambert Wilson! It is not yet a sponsor but it's a start! I will capitalize on that and go to potential sponsors to Paris to finally find support for my project EDELWEISS! Come on, you believe!

You will see in a few months, I will write a note with the title: "The Sweeper of the Peaks found a SPONSOR." That's when the EDELWEISS project (6 months for cleaning, and 5 months of intervention in schools over a period of 5 years) begin! I still believe, for the simple reason that ...

Danger!

Published by Arian Under Mt Blanc 2010

It is nice, but there are upper wind and snow is not stabilized. The 2.2 m of snow accumulated over the past two weeks is bad news for me ... I took a walk by the other side of Mont Blanc to see if I could go through it, and again it seems complicated for the moment and very dangerous! Some video footage to explain this little journey ...

I have also been discussed with the mountain guides, and it is not tip top toupee! The only possibility to get for now is ski touring (which I do not have) and then ski down with 15kg (my tarp and anchors) from the summit of Mont Blanc between seracs ... well not for me ! Moreover, with 40km / h wind at the top, I can not under any circumstances deploy my tarp. I venture to fly with me ...: s

Also another difficulty: the paragliders who were to aerial images are no longer available. And the other possibility by Helicopter (very controversial) is only possible in October for a TV show.

OUlalalalalalala, mincouille mincouille! But what? Refer to October?

Anyway, this project will be. it is a certainty! the question is when ... :)

Our planet deserves an effort! that's a certainty too!

Not yet ...

Published by Arian Under Mt Blanc 2010

After a week of waiting under the clouds and rain, I finally saw the Mont Blanc and surrounding peaks (Aiguille du Midi below). It's very motivating!
aiguille-du-midi-mai-2010
The weather is a bit better ... but there are upper wind and the meter of snow fell last week is not stabilized. I can not even climb to the summit. I still have to wait ...
Taking risks is one thing, taking too big risks is a huge mistake that I do not want to! I saw too many people die having made that mistake here.
All is well, I have time .. so patience ... The reward will be even better and of course:
Our planet deserves an effort an effort of patience ... for now! :)
