Arian / her action
On September 4, 2010, the City of Carbay (49) honored my action "scanner tops" by giving my name to his public school:

Since 2006, I conducted several expeditions cleaning at high altitude in my spare time student: Aconcagua (6962m) in 2006 and 2007 equipped by Mountain Hardwear, Kanchenjunga Base Camp (5200m) sponsored by Millet, Reunion (December 2007) , Le Mont Blanc and the Alps (4807m) in 2007 and Gasherbrum (8035m) in Pakistan in summer 2009 and summer 2010.
I could pick up some 150kg of waste in one shipment. Since 2006, I picked up a total of over 550kg of waste. What makes me the nickname of "Scanner Treetop"
But this waste, abandoned by commercial shipments poorly organized, or independent climbers with little scruples are a scourge to the ecosystem of these places and isolated extremely fragile!
On my return shipping, I take the time to share my experience and passion with children. Indeed, during interventions in primary schools throughout France or in public lectures, I aware and interested children (decision makers and actors of tomorrow), environmental issues and the impact of our actions all days on the environment.
Having done my share of interventions have a positive impact with children and their parents and teachers, and also that the national media (radio, TV, press, internet) just waiting for my next image the broadcast, I decided to bring another dimension to my project: expertise.
Indeed, during the years 2008-2009, I did a Masters in Environmental Management at Lincoln University, Christchurch (New Zealand), to acquire the expertise needed to analyze the phenomena that I can observe altitude and to provide practical solutions.
That's why I wrote my thesis on "Waste Management in High Altitude through a practical example: THE Gasherbrum: 8000m of Pakistan" - expedition was conducted in 2009. I am now preparing the project EDELWEISS (2011-2016) which consists of cleaning the mountains for six months and intervene in schools in France the other six months.
To do this, I will now have to rely on partners and sponsors to help me prepare and fund large-scale expedition. The document is launched!

By the, I wish you a very good day!

The action of Arian Lemal (The Canopy Scanner) is a personal action. In his spare time, he organized environmental adventures to educate young people and the public to the environment, including the value of water and waste management. It focuses on cleaning the mountains, he would like to thank them, and uses this action to reach young people and lead by example. Young students follow these adventures on the Internet, and then the meeting during these interventions volunteers in schools in exchange for asking students to do a cleanup project: Students spectators become actors!
It was during the many travels around the globe, he realizes the fragility of the world ... Today, through these expeditions, it conveys two key environmental messages:
"Water is scarce and valuable"
"We are overflowing waste, reduce them!"

Over the years, and my travels "Baroudeurs" I am aware of the fragility of the planet and the impact of Western lifestyles on natural resources and biodiversity.
To each of my trips, my family, my surroundings and the people I meet tell my listening journey carefully and wonder.
In the mountains during a long discussion with the Italians, they encourage me to do more, "You have an exciting message to convey. Use your adventures and your personality to convey the environmental message. " A few days later, the "Ascension of Aconcagua solo" was born ...
Today, the return shipping is supported, encouraged and strongly followed by schools and the public. I am encouraged strongly and seriously to continue my projects.
Anecdote:
1st Ascension: Mount Kenya, Point Lenana, 4998m and 11.
I sulked and grumbled during the first 5 days. I did not walk 5-6am ... at that time! I preferred playing football or playing in the forest. Summit day, we were fed up of my sulking, I was told that I will not at the top. I refused saying that I do not sulk over and we no longer hear me. I was determined to continue.
