Friday, February 23 took place the opening of the exhibition "the sweeper of the peaks" in The Chapel of St Anne in La Baule, in which Mr. Mayor of La Baule handed me the medal of the town of La Baule. It is a great reward that comes complete this cleanup project on Aconcagua. In addition, the city wants to financially support the project in 2008.

My visits to schools were beautifully made with many exchanges, many meetings, many children and especially interested to attend the next project and protect the environment. Children flock mails with photos of cleanup projects have some personal implemented. Congratulations to you all for these efforts, our planet deserves an effort!

Now I work on the next project for 2008 which will be dedicated: "Everest". You just follow the sponsors ...

Many schools contact me by passing a television, it was fantastic, the project is gaining momentum with many schools for the 2008 project. Interventions are finished, now I'm preparing two exhibits (photos, equipment, and large photographs): one at La Baule, which begins Saturday, February 24 at The Chapel of St. Anne, and one for early April in the shopping gallery in Nantes Atlantis .

I congratulate all the children who send me emails with their clean up projects, and their efforts for the planet, you make me happy with your initiatives and actions. BRAVO.

I just finished the last intervention in the school Le Bon Sauveur, Vesinet, Paris. It went very well, it was magical again in exchange and discussions ... Everybody wants to follow the next project for 2008 in the Himalayas ... Thanks for your enthusiasm to each and everyone.

It's been five days that I'm back, and I have not had time to rest. Imagine that my affairs are still mountain in the bag without having been washed ... And yes, just long enough to sleep 4-5 hours per night. I'm working on editing video that basically takes a long time, and on my slideshow for interventions in the school starting Monday (January 22).
But all goes well, I arrived and students are eager to meet me.
I'll rest later, for the moment the adventure continues ...

Here I am descended from the mountain Aconcagua, I could take my first shower ... a real pleasure.
Since my "descent" to the base camp, things went very smoothly and very quietly. Several times I have been walking on the glacier which overlooks the base camp, the crevasses and penitents are superb ... but global warming is that the glacier recedes and the fields disappear penitents saw eye ... There are 3 weeks, yet I was crossing the fields of penitents, now they are gone ... Another sign that nature gives us on his condition ... and it is seeing.
Strangely every time I went into the glacier, I brought waste ... it is a place where very few people go, and there is still some waste ... carried by the wind, others I do not really know not how ... certainly long past expeditions.
I also make a summit in the evening and return at night to take pictures and make videos of this beautiful mountain with a single light. I wanted to have some beautiful images in order to show you the beauty of nature ... it's true a broad and vast, but you must believe you are getting closer and that we wish that this place is clean and beautiful. There are details that are incredible ... The nature is really beautiful, and I hope we can all enjoy, but also the animals that make up this world as peaceably benefit.

I am now in Mendoza, Argentina desert town where it is 35 degrees .... it changes the altitude of the cold!
I returned to France in two days, and I prepare my speeches in class ... I got lots of emails of encouragement and support, especially for students who follow the project. Thank you for this support, I appreciate.
