Arian Lemal, The Sweeper of the Peaks

The title of this article explains the mixture of elements constituting my current environment! a pleasure! After a few days without power up, I decided to climb to 2000m in the rain and fog! Then the wind mingles with the game, and the rain becomes snow (my favorite since the snow does not wet as the rain, with the rain I was really miserable!)! Two dangerous passages with big snow slides, I was scared ... but I had to go! Then a horror vision of a huge snow slide 3 meters high reminded me of the reality and danger!

so I re-routed to pass through the trees and bushes!

Tonight, he MINUS 11 degrees! and I did not have my sleeping bag of experience, so I suffered all night! My sleeping bag and the rest of my equipment is at altitude (portages I had done in November)!

This morning I tell myself I will try to pass, but without crampons and ice ax, it was suicidal ... the very steep and icy slopes reminded me of the reality and danger. I prefer to write these words and continue my projects to succeed this ascesion Mont Blanc with my bache

On this I drink hot chocolate.

Now that the holidays are over and that I am "boosted", I return to the Alps, the majestic MT WHITE waiting for me again ... I hope the weather will be with me! The fateful date of January 16 approaches ... after I can no longer make my plans for an extended period of time.

French sponsors have responded negatively, it's a shame! For 2 years I will be abroad and therefore could not intervene in schools and meeting children. I'll have to find a solution "virtual" (television and internet) to continue my efforts and to share my adventures environmental.

End of January (before I left for New Zealand), I still meet kids, it will do me good contact with them. It is in the classes that I see the result of my efforts, and it's very motivating!

For now, I have to focus on the Mt Blanc. An attempt in winter is risky, especially with a tarpaulin of 50sqm! Our planet deserves an effort ... So here we go!!

I wait for any positive answers ... but nothing comes, and will certainly not come in time. This means that I can not live my plans for now, so I'm going back to New Zealand to finish my Masters in Environmental Management that I had interrupted my plans ...

For now, I am family, I take ... It's really magical to get together with family, especially my two sisters are also there, and last night we laughed a long time ... Happiness!

We'll see what January holds for me .. maybe an answer ... it would be good, even great!

After the tropical heat, cold and snow of the Alps around me ... I was here for a meeting with the company where Millet 2008 and 2009 collections were presented ... great atmosphere, joyful but hardworking too! The snow has brought a little something magical and enchanting at this meeting!

I also came back for my project at the summit of Mont Blanc, but I am stuck in the valley, and my car is covered with 20 cm of fresh snow! I do not have snow tires, so I have to wait to leave ... or even move! I'm going to snowshoe, and enjoy those few days in this environment ... I love the snow!

I do not think my project before Christmas given the snow conditions ... I'll have to return later. Now, family reunions season waiting for me ...

Many things on the horizon for me, I just have to find a financial partner ... We'll see it soon!
