After a week of waiting under the clouds and rain, I finally saw the Mont Blanc and surrounding peaks (Aiguille du Midi below). It's very motivating!

Taking risks is one thing, taking too big risks is a huge mistake that I do not want to! I saw too many people die having made that mistake here.

I'm at the foot of Mont Blanc, more motivated than ever to succeed in this deployment covering the summit. In 2007, I had tried 4 times, but each attempt, the weather (wind and snow) prevented me from carrying out this project. I put this little video on the internet at the time:
We are now in 2010, and I'm back for another attempt ... which promises to not tip top for now: it's raining! Which means that snow at higher elevations and therefore I can not ride for now.
