Since 2006, "The Sweeper of the Peaks" was an extraordinary adventure in human encounters, and MAGIC in connection with the environment and its mountains. It was truly exceptional! And to quote one of my little words: "It was Tip Top Moumoute.

School interventions:

I spoke to over 300 classes ranging from CE1 to school. Each time, students were very interested and very receptive. One boy even told me: "When I grow up I want to be sweeper tops!" What a gift! I feel I have accomplished my goal: educate youth about the environment!

Sponsors:

Since the beginning, I asked all the major French companies and groups to find financial sponsors. This research has remained unsuccessful. Being highly motivated and determined to carry this passion and dream of sweeping the tops, I personally funded my expeditions. Today I can no longer afford to continue.

I sincerely thank my equipment ( Mountain Hardwear , Millet , Julbo , and Petzl ) without whom I would not have achieved the sweeper of the summits. Thank you!

The future:

I am and will stay the Sweeper of the Peaks, I always pick it up the waste mountain, and I will always work for our planet. But I'll do it in a personal way and at my own pace. The important thing is to make efforts for our beautiful planet! Will you be?

A short report on the sweeper of the peaks was broadcast on Arte:

Responses from potential sponsors are unfortunately negative. As several people have remarked to me: "You're ahead of your time, and sponsors are chilly!"

Is this the end of a dream? Or is it just another road that I must take (see: work related to my studies)?

What is certain is that our planet is still worth an effort!

I am now en route to Morocco. This travel opportunity was offered to me by the association of Dr. Fatiaha (ADF) who wanted me to come and intervene in Moroccan schools in Berkane (North-east, near Oujda). When, in early October, I received an email telling me "Would you be interested to present your work in schools in Morocco?" I immediately answered "YES, YES, YES! It's tip top wig! "

And I want to discover this country and its mountains that I do not know. Mt Toubkal, culminates at 4100m. I'll tell you all this on my return in early December.

Finding partners / sponsors to finance the project continues Edelweiss . For now, I received 15 negative responses after sending 60 files to large companies. I still believe, and you showed me that you too, so it will work!

And to keep hope, PETZL (company that produces ice axes, crampons, harness ...) becomes sponsor of the sweeper of the peaks, and will provide me with my technical equipment. What new Moumoute Tip Top!

Friday, September 24, I was in a school in Wattrelos. I met with 10 classes (9-11 years). After surgery before the classes, we took the opportunity to clean up around the school. The children were very enthusiastic and very effective in their "sweep" of nature.

I came away very pleased with this day, with lots of drawings. Thank you for all your drawings!

I'm heading towards the Mt Blanc for my project covering the summit. Here it is in the school yard to Wattrelos Léo Lagrange. The next time you see her again, she will be at the summit of Mt Blanc!

While my knee recovers (the rest makes it a very foolish!), I persevere in my search for sponsorship for the project "Edelweiss".

I sent 60 cases to the Directorate of Communication of large companies. For now, I received two negative responses: Intersport and Yves Rocher Foundation. I wait two weeks for other answers, and then I shall reopen businesses that do not get me responded. Come on, we believe!

Other news:

• I have an agent who will handle my sponsorship and my communication. It's great because it will allow me to take care only of the organization of projects and interventions in schools and conferences. My agent is extremely optimistic about my search for sponsors. I feel like saying: 'It will be tip top wig then! "
• A short story (1min30) will increase in 2-3 weeks on ARTE in the program "Global Mag. Of course, I'll get the report and will put it on the blog.
• I met CAPATv (Filing box) is very interested in the sweep of the summits. I need them again in early October. Stay tuned ...
• Special Envoy to the report takes a bit longer than expected. not for now (6months-a year). Sorry, but when the time comes I will keep you informed!

So much for the new sweeper peaks. Basically, the sponsorship is in progress ...

And of course, the project for the summit of Mont Blanc is still ongoing, and will happen from October 10. (Photos below taken Carbay at the opening of school)
