The FOOTPRINT:

The presence of the man putting pressure on the notorious nature it is important to analyze, understand, quantify and then manage it sustainably. The ecological footprint concept was developed for this purpose there.
This indicator is intended to help people understand the relationship between ways of life and nature, and to help them become aware of the implications for the nature of their consumption patterns, which could be represented by the footprint of one foot on the ground.
It is a tool that evaluates the productive surface necessary for a population to meet its consumption of resources and needs to absorb waste.

A French 4.6 hectares needs to live sustainably. If everyone consumed like the French, we would need three planets to live.
The global ecological footprint has exceeded the carrying capacity of the earth to produce resources and absorb waste since the mid-1970s, which means that we over-consume have on reserves.
As soon as you can, limit the damage you take in the world in your everyday behavior.
I changed many things in my lifestyle and that of my family and my quality of life has remained unchanged. My family are proud and happy of their actions on the environment.

WATER: VITAL ELEMENT FOR RIGHTS:

"Water is scarce and valuable." It is life ... Our body contains 80%, we could not live without.
But today, our way of life that we are wasting. How is it that we are wasting our source of life?

Drinking water is sometimes very rare in some countries it should be used sparingly. In Namibia, I had the chance to live with a tribe "Himba" for 5 days. I had to walk 3 km to go to the water point and come back with 10 liters under each arm. You discover that water is precious and must preserve it ...

Simple steps:

- Prefer a shower "short and efficient" to a bath
- Turn off the tap when you brush your teeth, or hands
- While turning off the taps to prevent leakage

WASTE:

Our produce tons of waste per day. A French produced an average of more than 1 kg of waste per day. When you multiply this amount by the French population, you get: 60 million kg or 60 000 tonnes of waste per day. And we speak only of France.

You do not think, right?

Today we can recycle much of our waste. Cardboard, paper, glass, some plastics, some metals are recyclable. Sorting is very simple: you set up different bins for the items to be recycled, and when it's full, you will walk and get some fresh air (which is very good for your body) to drop the bags in the recycling bins. What do you think?

Waste segregation is voluntary indispensable for the environment. Your actions will make a difference every day. Spread the word!
